Based on the stunning West Sussex beach of West Wittering, you will learn how to use the technique of Intentional Camera Movement to create striking, ethereal and abstract interpretations of our surroundings.

Stunning low tide pools, expansive sands, and the sensational dunes of East Head make West Wittering an abstract photographers paradise. 

"Mindfulness" is an important part of our approach to the day. We will encourage you to make the most of being in this stunning location, and to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the Coast.

Hopefully, you will end the session not only armed with the knowledge of how to make great ICM photographs, but also feeling rejuvenated, mentally and physically.

Mark and Shona will go into detail on how to set your camera up for ICM photography, and will share our knowledge on the best techniques and movements for capturing ethereal and effective images.

​

We will demonstrate how different shutter speeds and movements effect the final outcome of your images.

There is more to West Wittering then wide angle compositions, and we will encourage you to seek out some finer details and more intimate scenes. 

We will always encourage experimentation of technique, which could include multiple exposures, or a focus on shape, colour and texture.
